What is AMAZING sevice? I often wonder, why there is such a lack of service in many Bridal Boutiques. Getting married is such a big deal, and something many woman have dreamed about, since they were little girls! So when you book an appointment to try on dresses, you expect to be welcomed with a smile, patience, understanding, honsty, kindness and experience an unique and professional service - oh yes and a glas of Champagne will make any woman feel fabulous!

I have just started working with an amazing Bridal Boutique in Lausanne, Switzerland. Olga the owner is such a lovely and sweet person, and her way of welcoming her brides is just outstanding! Not only is her Boutique just exquisite, but she knows excately how to treat her clients (but it feels so right, because she does with her heart and soul). Oh wow - it has been some pretty amazing but crazy months for me! I have been extremely busy, and sometimes I have been working all night to get my work done...but I just love it!

My dear friend Maria from Vintage Bride has just opened her Bridal Boudoir in Copenhagen, and we wanted to celebrate that together. So we invited old and new clients, journalist, bloggers and friends to the Grand Opening, where we served delicious food from the amazing chef Rasmus Kjær & Champagne from Möet & Chandon.

We had such a lovely evening, and I really want to thank everybody for making this event so special. Now enjoy these sweet pictures from the talented photographer Amanda Thomsen.

My beautiful German bride Eva and her husband Laszlo, both LOVE everything British (they even met each other at University - studying English!) So it is no surprise, that they wanted to add some British elements into their wedding - like a love sonnet by Shakespare and Scottish pipes. They got married in an AMAZING baroque church in Altenmarkt, and they continued their celebration at Schlosshotel Burgstall (again this amazing castle has this British feel to it). I literally JUST received these adorable pictures of my German bride, Eva. They are just so so lovely, and they have this wonderful and sweet vintage feel to them. I have never met Eva, but she is an amazing woman, and I really feel like I know her. Even though she is married now (and our business relationship is over), we still write long mails to each other, and I always look forward to receiving mails from her. This is what makes my job so very special, and I just love every moment of it.

As a designer, I get inspired by so many beautiful thíngs, but I often find my inspiration from the details of the past eras; The French Bohemianism of the early 1900’s, the details of the Art Deco movement and the glamour of 1920´s Hollywood. So when I received these beautiful pictures from my client Helle, my heart started to flutter with excitement. Ohhh yes I was well excited, because she just looks like a 1930´s Hollywood Starlet. I really love my job, and I am sooooo happy, that I finally have found my "true calling". I enjoy every day at the office and all the challenges that comes along (believe me....there are many). But I would not have it any other way! When I started my company, I had no connections, no customers, no website, no suppliers....and I had to lean by doing! But everything is possible if - YOU DARE TO LIVE YOUR DREAMS!

I have been a huge fan of the Danish author Siseel-Jo Gazan for quite some time. Not only does she write amazing crime novels, but she also writes columns for newspapers and magazines. She always have something interesting to say, and you get the feeling, that she is a very strong woman. So you can imagine how excited I was, when Sissel-Jo contacted me regarding a headpiece for her wedding! (yes I was VERY excited!). A while back Alicia Swedenborg, Elizabeth Würtz and I met up in Copenhagen, where we talked about doing a shoot together. It was amazing to meet these two beautiful women, that I admire so much! After a HUGE amount of preparation and seaching for the right location (which prooved to be a hard search), we finaly got everything together at the Odd Fellow Palæ in Copenhagen.
